That depends on where you’re coming from. Once in Merano, all you have to do is head to the stunning Piazza del Teatro, walk right up to the car-free area to see our check-in car park. Another option is using Google Maps. You’ll find us at Corso della Libertà 178, Merano. You can spot our hotel from quite a distance away as soon as you enter Merano.

Train:
The Europa Splendid Hotel is located 500 meters from the railway station.

Airplane:
Only recently has the province of South Tyrol attained an airport in Bozen. The Airport Bozen Dolomiti connects Bozen with Frankfurt, Düsseldorf, Rome, Vienna and Linz. More flight connections are planned in the future.

The garage is a stone’s throw from the hotel. Speak with Reception to receive further information about our garage and other parking opportunities. Your car is in safe hands.

We don’t have a SPA. However, the Europa Splendid is a 2-minute walk to the Merano Thermal Baths, boasting outdoor and indoor areas. Even if you’re not a SPA fan, the Merano Baths are an absolute highlight of any holiday in the city. As our guests you will receive a 10% discount on the entrance fee and the possibility to borrow a wellness bag for 7 €.

Yes – some were renovated recently, and others just the other day. Take a look at our rooms to see what we’re talking about. All basic amenities include: Air conditioning, safe, TV, telephone.

The hotel’s cuisine is a-maz-ing. Our new Chef, Toni, has brought a wind of change into the kitchen, and breakfast is a guest favourite thanks to its selection of fresh produce and eggs whatever way guests like them. During the rest of the day, the new Liberty's Bar serves Mediterranean dishes and refreshing drinks. The Hotel Europa Splendid is located only 300 meters from the Terme Merano.
You can reach the thermal baths in 3–5 minutes on foot, walking through the charming city center of Merano.

At the Hotel Europa Splendid, guests can enjoy a rich breakfast buffet and optionally book half board.
In the evening, a carefully prepared 4-course dinner menu is served in the hotel restaurant, combining South Tyrolean tradition with Mediterranean cuisine.

The hotel’s private garage is located about 2 minutes on foot from the hotel.
Alternatively, guests can use the parking garage at the Terme Merano, about 300–400 meters away, which is around a 4-minute walk through the center of Merano.

The parking fee at Hotel Europa Splendid is € 19 per night, and € 17 per night for stays of 5 nights or more.
Your vehicle will therefore be parked comfortably and securely – perfectly matching a relaxing stay in the heart of Merano.

Therme entry Entry to Therme Meran is not automatically included in the room price but guests receive a 10 % discount on the regular entry fee.
Beauty & Wellness For treatments such as massages or beauty services guests also get a 5 % discount.

By car
Take the Brenner motorway A22 to Bolzano Sud, then continue on the SS38 expressway towards Merano and follow the road to the city centre (Corso della Libertà / Theatre). You can briefly stop in front of the hotel to unload luggage and then park in a nearby garage

By train
Travel to Bahnhof Meran. From there it is about an 8–10 minute walk towards the city centre / Corso della Libertà. Alternatively you can take a taxi or a city bus

By plane
The nearest airports are Flughafen Bozen Dolomiti, Flughafen Innsbruck or Flughafen Verona. From there you can continue to Meran by train, bus or rental car

By long-distance bus
Long-distance buses stop in Meran near the railway station. From there you can either walk to the city centre (about 10 minutes) or take a taxi directly to the hotel
