Kurhaus Merano
This architectural masterpiece is a 2-minute walk from the Europa Splendid, right on the Corso di Libertà.
Visible almost everywhere from the city is the dome facing the Passer River with two dancing girls on it. The Kurhaus, especially the "new wing" (1912, designed by Friedrich Ohmann), is the epitome of Art Nouveau, which characterises the entire town. Today, balls and renowned events are held in the Kurhaus, including the Merano Winefestivial.
